Hello, and welcome to Bridgeway Foundation. This charitable organization represents years of dedication to autistic community support in Hampton Roads. Throughout my journey, I've often questioned, "Where are the resources?" While my experience with schools and organizations addressed some needs, my desire for more comprehensive solutions always drove me. Traditional public, private, and home-based schools, along with private in-home therapy, still fall short for non-vocal and low-vocal learners. I founded Bridgeway Foundation with the belief that our community is filled with remarkable individuals who strive for the best for everyone. As a community within a community, autistic people in Hampton Roads deserve our collective voices to build a better world for all. I've witnessed firsthand how autistic individuals contribute innovation, compassion, humor, and love to those around them. It is essential that we work together to nurture and protect their place in our community. Let’s lend our voices to ensure our community is the best it can be for everyone.
